IT Support Specialist II – Overview
DriveTime Family of Brands is a leading used vehicle finance and servicing company headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, and Dallas, Texas. The IT Support SpecialistII role maintains day‑to‑day IT operations, providing hands‑on technical support to corporate offices and remote employees, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, and supporting larger IT initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on‑site and remote technical support for corporate offices and distributed teams.
- Evaluate, prioritize and resolve support tickets while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Act as an escalation resource for IT Support SpecialistI team members.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Manage multiple priorities, including ticket queues and walk‑up support requests.
- Lead and contribute to IT‑related projects assigned by IT leadership.
- Collaborate with System Administrators on broader IT initiatives and continuous improvements.
- Maintain high standards of IT organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of end‑user computing experience in an enterprise environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Hands‑on experience providing technical support for laptop and desktop users.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across hardware, software, and network systems.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility for after‑hours and/or weekend support as needed.
Nice to Haves
- A+ certification.
- Apple certifications or equivalent experience.
- Experience with two‑factor authentication tools.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience, Intune and/or Autopilot.
- Microsoft Office365 (Outlook, Teams, etc.) experience.
- VPN experience.
- Remote support tools and troubleshooting experience.
