Job summary

Networking Technologies + Support is seeking an entry-level technical support specialist in Virginia. The role emphasizes intake, first-response support, ticket creation or updates, monitoring responses, and foundational troubleshooting.

You will work within established SOPs to maintain ticket hygiene and efficient incident handling. Ideal candidates are early in their tech careers, eager to learn client environments, and willing to participate in ongoing technical training and certification

Qualifications

• Entry-level role focused on intake, first-response support, and basic troubleshooting.
• Requires calm communication and ability to document actions clearly.
• Must follow established processes and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound support requests and create or update tickets.
• Perform basic user support and troubleshooting.
• Escalate issues with notes and context as needed.
• Respond to monitoring alerts and routing actions.
• Follow SOPs for ticket handling, communication, and documentation.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks for users.
