Job summary

Goodwill Gulf Coast is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to internal customers and ensure IT systems are running smoothly. You will handle helpdesk tickets, repair workstations, manage user accounts and email, and configure new devices according to the IT Manager’s standards.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, effective communication, and a customer-focused approach. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are needed, with a Monday–Friday schedule

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years’ IT service desk experience.
• Experience with Point of Sale Systems preferred.
• Experience with iOS and Android mobile devices required.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and O365 Administration preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Enter all service tickets, times worked and resolution into the helpdesk system.
• Provide monthly report on helpdesk activities.
• Resolve end-user workstation issues and troubleshooting.
• Act as liaison between end users and escalation team.
• Repair workstations using approved hardware/software.
• Maintain user accounts and email accounts.
• Install and configure new workstations per IT Manager’s specs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot communications devices and AV equipment.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal customers.
• Maintain safety procedures and be a positive role model.
