City of Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical desktop support for Environmental Services Department users and to act as application administrator for department-specific software. The role coordinates with City IT to ensure fully functional workstations and peripherals.
Responsibilities include configuring systems, supporting data production for regulatory compliance, and serving as a liaison between the Water Department and city operations.
The purpose of this job is to provide technical, desktop support to the Environmental Services Department (ESD) users regarding the City's IT and Water/Wastewater SCADA environments. The IT Support Specialist (ITSS) is responsible for coordinating and liaising with City IT to ensure that user workstations are fully functional and meet defined requirements, including all peripherals. The ITSS is also the application administrator and/or liaison for department-specific applications.
