Job summary

APL Federal Credit Union is seeking an IT Support Specialist to manage daily operations of the core processing system and provide hands-on technical support for staff’s hardware and software.

The role involves setup and maintenance of workstations, data processing coordination, and contributing to IT procedures. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of PC and server support experience and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; plus thorough knowledge of operating systems and software applications.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of PC and network server support in a networked environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of core processing system and support end users.
• Install, setup, and maintain computer systems, software, and network equipment per CIO direction.
• Provide hardware/software inventories and maintain IT procedures.
• Assist with vendor contacts and Active Directory updates.
• Support data processing activities and application support.
• Recommend IT department improvements to enhance efficiency and services.
