Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking an Associate IT Specialist to join our IT Operations team in a fast-paced environment. You will provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and software, while ensuring service requests meet SLAs.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in technical support, strong Windows proficiency, customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This role offers growth in a dynamic automotive EV company based in California.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably desktop support or helpdesk
• Familiarity with desktop hardware components, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and common desktop applications such as Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Office
• Able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software
• Respond to service requests and incidents in a professional manner while meeting the designated SLA
• Prepare and deploy freshly provisioned computers
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, and accessories
• Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software components, including operating systems, drivers, and applications
• Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies
