Job summary

Harbinger Motors in California is seeking an Associate IT Specialist to join our IT operations team. You will provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software, and deploy freshly provisioned computers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or higher, 1–2 years in a technical support role, and solid knowledge of Windows 10/11, Zoom, Slack, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a desktop support or helpdesk role.
• Familiarity with desktop hardware components, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and common desktop applications such as Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software.
• Respond to service requests and incidents in a professional manner while meeting the designated SLA.
• Prepare and deploy freshly provisioned computers.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, and accessories.
• Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software components, including operating systems, drivers, and applications.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
