Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking an Associate IT Specialist to join our IT operations team in Garden Grove, CA. This role supports desktops, laptops, printers, and software, while provisioning new devices and maintaining IT asset inventories.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in tech support, strong customer service, Windows 10/11 proficiency, and the ability to explain tech to non-technical users. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred.
1–2 years in a technical support or desk-side role.
Familiarity with desktop hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting.
Excellent customer service and ability to explain tech to non-technical users.
Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and common apps like Zoom, Slack, Office.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software.
Respond to service requests and incidents meeting SLA.
Prepare and deploy freshly provisioned computers.
Maintain an inventory of IT assets (laptops, desktops, accessories).
Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software including OS, drivers, apps.
Stay up-to-date on IT trends and technologies.
