Job summary

Harbinger Motors is seeking an Associate IT Specialist to join our IT operations team in California. You will provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and software, while deploying, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of technical support experience, strong Windows proficiency, excellent customer service, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s in IT or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years in a technical support or desktop support role.
• Familiarity with desktop hardware and troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service and ability to explain tech to non-technical users.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and common apps (Zoom, Slack, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software
• Respond to service requests and incidents with SLA adherence
• Prepare and deploy freshly provisioned computers
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets
• Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software
• Stay up-to-date on IT trends and technologies
