Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking an Associate IT Specialist (Contract to Hire) to join the IT operations team in Garden Grove, CA. You will provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, and software, deploy new computers, and maintain IT asset inventories.

The role requires 1–2 years in a desktop support or helpdesk position, strong customer service, and solid knowledge of Windows OS and common apps. The position is onsite with a competitive USD hourly rate.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a desktop support or helpdesk role.
Familiarity with desktop hardware components, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software.
Respond to service requests and incidents in a professional manner while meeting the designated SLA.
Prepare and deploy freshly provisioned computers.
Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, and accessories.
Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software components, including operating systems, drivers, and applications.
Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
