Job summary

JMARK Business Solutions Inc. is seeking a temporary IT Support Specialist Contractor to be the onsite IT resource for a Banking Client in Seneca, KS.

The assignment starts immediately and runs until October 1, 2026, with travel assistance potentially available for candidates outside the immediate area. Responsibilities include day-to-day IT/Desktop support for ~125 users, liaison with contracted IT and vendor software support, and delivering courteous service to staff and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year working in a technical operating capacity.
• Experience in help desk tickets or desktop support preferred.
• Experience in health/medical related environment preferred.
• Windows Server experience is a plus.
• Active Directory experience preferred.
• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Understanding of data security and confidentiality policies and procedures.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT/Desktop functions for an environment of approximately 125 users.
• Serve as liaison with contracted IT company and vendor software support companies.
• Responds to IT requests through calls, emails, and tickets.
• Assist team members with resolving IT issues.
• Assist Clients with exceptional customer service with their personal phones, laptops, tablets, etc.
• Assist with hardware issues: desktops, laptops, copiers, printers, and peripherals.
• Research and provide accurate information to team members with solutions.
• Enhance organization and IT department's reputation by taking ownership of new requests and adding value.
• Assist in developing systems and procedures to deliver quality service to end users.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.

JMARK Business Solutions Inc. is looking to add a temporary IT Support Specialist Contractor to our team to be the onsite IT resource in Seneca, KS for one of our Banking Clients. They will provide evaluation and support for the day-to-day IT activities. They will provide training and guidance to the internal staff and clients and keep them updated with new technologies as needed.

The assignment would start immediately and would run until October 1, 2026. Travel assistance may be available for a candidate outside the immediate area.

Functions and Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day IT/Desktop functions for an environment of approximately 125 users serving as liaison with contracted IT company and vendor software support companies.

• Responds to IT requests through calls, emails, and tickets
• Assist team members with resolving IT issues.
• Assist Clients with exceptional customer service with their personal phones, laptops, tablets, etc.
• Assist with the following hardware issues: desktops, laptops, copiers, printers, and peripherals.
• Answers inquiries and clarifies desired information; researching, locating, and providing accurate information, including education to team members with solutions.
• Utilize de-escalation skills and upscale? Wait no.
• Enhance organization and IT departments reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the position.
• Assist in developing systems and procedures to deliver quality service to end users.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Education/Experience

• Minimum of one year working in a technical operating capacity
• Previous experience working on help desk tickets or desktop support preferred
• Experience in a health/medical related environment preferred
• Previous Window Server experience is a plus
• Previous Active Directory experience preferred
• High School graduate or equivalent required

Other Requirements

Must be onsite full-time during the length of the assignment Monday - Friday. Requires occasional evening and weekend hours to assist with off-hour IT tasks.
