Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for an IT Support Specialist in Syracuse, NY.

Description:

Provide support for child welfare applications and initiatives.

Day to day tasks to be performed by candidate include:

• Provide user support via in-person, email and telephone
• Provide direct, on-site instruction to individual users and small groups
• Provide instruction on newly released functionality
• Deliver presentations to line staff
• Monitor compliance with data entry requirements
• Review training materials
• Provide technical assistance with data warehouse.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.
• Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance.
• 36 months of experience providing IT support to users.
• 36 months of experience providing implementation support services.
• 18 months of experience providing onsite systems support in a child welfare environment.
• 18 months of experience in training staff in a child welfare application.
• Bachelor's Degree.
