Job summary

Focused Energy is hiring an IT Support Specialist in Austin to ensure employees stay connected, equipped, and secure while advancing fusion technology. You will be the primary IT contact for the Austin office, handling hardware, software, and access issues with ownership and initiative.

You will drive device lifecycle, onboarding/offboarding, and maintain robust IT documentation to enable self-service and resilience across a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Experience providing end-user IT support in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to resolve issues at first contact wherever possible.
• Experience imaging devices and managing asset inventory.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT support for Austin employees across hardware, software and connectivity.
• Lead device lifecycle management for the site: imaging, config, inventory, patching.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding with People Ops and ensure access provisioning.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation and self-serve resources for employees.
