Job summary

Kapco Metal Stamping in Grafton, WI is seeking an IT Support Specialist to keep people, technology, and manufacturing operations running smoothly. You'll troubleshoot challenges, support end users, and maintain critical systems in a fast-paced environment.

You'll work with Windows workstations, printers, and production PCs, manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365, and coordinate with MSPs on IT projects. This role offers growth and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of IT support or help desk experience.
• Proficient with Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Manufacturing IT support experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support production PCs, scanners, HMIs, printers.
• Install and maintain Windows workstations and apps.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and switch connectivity.
• Coordinate with MSPs to resolve IT issues.
• Maintain IT documentation and support tickets.
• Assist with system upgrades and IT projects.

IT Support Specialist - Grafton, WI

• Assist with system upgrades, equipment rollouts, and IT projects.
• Follow IT security policies and manufacturing safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in IT support or help desk.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Manufacturing or industrial IT support experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands in a fast-paced production environment.
