Job summary

Accessible Space, Inc. is hiring a full-time IT Support Specialist for our Saint Paul, MN office. A hybrid schedule is available after training.

You will deliver daily technical assistance, train users on hardware and software, troubleshoot IT problems, install and maintain software, support networks, and monitor antivirus to protect devices.

Qualifications

• Two years related work experience.
• Experience with MS software products.
• Administration and support of IT systems and networks.
• MCSA certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Able to work with individuals at all levels in the organization.
• Excellent communication skills, clear and professional over the phone.
• Occasional travel within the Twin Cities Metro area.
• Two years of IT-related education a plus.

IT Support Specialist duties

• Deliver daily technical assistance and user support to ASI employees.
• Train and guide users on computer hardware, software, and applications
• Provide consultation and support to all ASI computer users when computer or network problems arise. Troubleshoot access and functionality issues. Work with providers and/or users to remedy problems and prevent future occurrences
• Install and maintain computer software applications. Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of new systems and applications
• Assist in maintaining the computer network to ensure access to and performance of all computer systems
• Monitor the anti-virus software to ensure all devices remain properly protected and virus-free

IT Support Specialist Qualifications And Skills

• Two years related work experience
• Must have working knowledge of and experience with MS software products
• demonstrated skills and experience in the administration and support of IT systems and networks
• Certification as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or the ability to obtain such within one year
• Ability to work well with a range of individuals at all levels within the organization.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone
• Able to occasionally travel throughout the Twin Cities Metro area
• Two years of education in a related field: computer science, information technology, etc. a plus
