Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role.
• Strong expertise in Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware).
• Knowledge of security best practices, including endpoint protection and patch management.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical employees.
• Organizational skills to prioritize and meet deadlines, with a willingness to learn.
• An IT-related college or technical degree required (or equivalent relevant experience).

Responsibilities

• Provide first contact IT support to ensure courteous, timely resolution of issues.
• Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and document employee IT requests.
• Support employees across multiple locations, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Install software, hardware and drivers and update existing as needed.
• Configure, deploy and relocate desktops, laptops, printers and related devices.
• Support mobile devices including procurement, MDM, and enterprise iOS troubleshooting.

IT Support Specialist

RyanFireprotectionis looking for an IT Support Specialist to supportITteam in our growing organization.The right candidate will look forward to new challenges and work independently to research and solve those challenges efficiently.They will genuinely enjoy working directly with fellow employees to help them solve their IT challenges with the ability to communicate technical items to non-technical people. This person understands that there is room to learn and grow.

We will expect this role to work in-person out of our Noblesville, IN or Indianapolis, IN offices (or a hybrid of both), as those are our headquarters, and we are passionate about you getting to know the people you’re supporting in the organization.

Employee Support – these are some tasks you will spend working with colleagues:

• Provide first contact supportofincoming requests to ensure courteous,timely, and effective resolution of employee’s issues
• Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and document employee’s issues and requests
• Provide IT support to employees across multiple locations, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install new software, hardware, and drivers and updating existing as needed
• Configure, deploy, andrelocatedesktops, laptops, printers, and any other related devices
• Mobile device support including procurement, MDM, and knowledge/experience troubleshooting, supporting, and configuring Apple iOS in an enterprise environment

IT Documentation & Training:

• MaintainaccurateIT documentation, including help guides, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Develop and deliver IT training sessions for employees on best practices, security awareness, andnew technologies.

Qualifications:

• 1+years of experience in IT support, system administration, ora relatedrole.
• Strongexpertisein Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Proficiencyin managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware)
• Knowledge of securitybestpractices, including endpoint protection, patch management, and compliance standards.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical employees
