Job summary

Hutchinson Industries, Inc. seeks an IT User Support specialist in the United States to help end users optimally utilize hardware and software, and to monitor computer systems for peak performance.

You will be the first point of contact for issue resolution, monitor the ticketing queue, document requests, and route tickets to second-level support as necessary. The role also supports the IT manager and handles install, configuration, and documentation tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting end users with hardware and software.
• Proficient with ticketing systems and documenting requests.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with Exchange Server and cloud environments.
• Good interpersonal and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to users and resolve issues where possible.
• Monitor ticket queues and document actions in the system.
• Assist the IT Manager with daily tasks and ongoing projects.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
• Install and configure hardware and software components.
• Repair or replace damaged computer hardware as needed.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and service notes.
