Job summary

Hutchinson Industries, Inc. seeks an IT User Support Specialist to assist end users with hardware and software, ensure system performance, and manage the ticketing workflow.

You will route escalations to second-line support and support the IT manager with daily tasks. Responsibilities include monitoring the ticket queue, documenting requests, troubleshooting hardware/software/network issues, and maintaining tech documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 cloud environments and admin tasks.
• Experience managing Exchange Server environments.
• Experience with VoIP phone systems and SIP trunks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
• Analytical and strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to end users for hardware and software issues.
• Monitor and document ticketing requests; route to second-line support when needed.
• Assist the IT Manager with daily tasks and coordination.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
• Install and configure hardware and software components.
• Repair or replace faulty computer hardware as required.
• Build and maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and service notes.
