Job summary

TPIS in Guaynabo, PR is seeking an IT Assistant to provide responsive, hands-on technology support across the organization. The role manages service desk requests, troubleshoots hardware, software, network, and business applications, administers user access, and assists with system upgrades and projects.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree in IT and at least 1 year of technical support experience, with strong English communication and willingness to travel to different locations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Configuration and activation of the Electronic Payment Terminal (EPT) as part of the deployment of a new project and installation at service stations.
• Locating equipment in the warehouse and transporting it to the company’s systems laboratory.
• Programming and configuring POS devices in the company’s systems laboratory.
• Organizing all equipment required for on-site installation.
• Leading the on-site installation process in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Performing on-site installation of all assigned equipment.
• Working with the central team to install and configure the system to bring it online.
