Job summary

FusionTek is seeking energetic interns to join our team in Arlington, VA. This in‑office internship offers hands‑on training in desktop and laptop support, including OS/app loading, configurations, and user settings.

You will work with clients both remotely and onsite, guided by our Service Delivery and Technical teams. We require a genuine interest in IT, strong communication, time management, and the ability to explain tech concepts simply.

Qualifications

• Foundational computer knowledge on Windows or Mac platforms.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
• Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Learn and provide support of desktop and laptop systems, including break/fix, OS and application loading, configurations, and settings.
• Record, track, and elevate cases through the tracking system and keep documentation up to date.
• Work with clients directly, remotely and onsite as part of the team.
• Coordinate projects with the Service Delivery and Advanced Technical teams.

Here’s what you’ll be doing!

• The primary focus of this position will be to learn and provide support of desktop and laptop systems, including break/fix service, operating system and application loading, application configurations and user settings, and desktop administrative duties.


• You’ll record, track, and elevate cases through our already established tracking system as well as help keep our documentation up to date and in tip-top shape.


• You’ll get to be part of our team of friendly and knowledgeable people working directly with our clients, both remotely and onsite.


• You will be able to coordinate projects and tasks seamlessly with our Service Delivery team members, as well as with our advanced technical team.

This internship is based in-office, not remote or work from home. This internship is also a paid opportunity.

• Must be able to commute daily to our office located in Arlington, VA


• This is an in‑office internship (not remote)
