Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. in Frederick, MD is offering an IT Support Internship to gain hands-on experience in hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and technical support while supporting day-to-day IT operations.

This on-site internship is Monday–Friday, 20 hours per week, with compensation at $15 per hour and W-2 employment. You will work with our IT team and vendor partner to learn best practices in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
• Strong desire to learn about the information technology profession.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day IT support and equipment needs.
• Coordinate with our 3rd party IT partner to escalate and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including equipment setup and account provisioning.
• Install and configure computer hardware, software, printers, and other office equipment as needed.
• Maintain records of technology assets, user access, and related documentation.
• Promote cybersecurity best practices and assist with IT procedures and user guides.
• Occasional travel to sites or vendor locations as needed.

Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. is currently offering an IT Support Internship in the Frederick, MD office location. This role will support the day-to-day IT operations while developing practical skills in hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and technical support.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 20 hours per week

Location:

On-site - Frederick, MD

Essential Functions:

• Serve as the first point of contact for all day-to-day technology and equipment/machine support needs within all offices.
• Coordinate with our 3rd party IT partner to escal and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including equipment setup, account coordination, and technology provisioning.
• Install and configure computer hardware, software, printers, and other office equipment, as needed.
• Technology liaison in coordinating all IT software vendors, IT maintenance and project related activity.
• ABH cell phone setup, support, and asset maintenance.
• RingCentral point of contact for employee setup, troubleshooting, and support.
• Maintain accurate records of company technology assets, assigned equipment, and user access, including employee directories and distribution lists.
• Assist with software, hardware, and technology deployments and upgrades.
• Help develop and maintain basic IT procedures, documentation, and user guides.
• Promote appropriate use of company technology and support basic cybersecurity and technology best practices.
• ABH Info Email monitoring and distributions.
• Occasional travel to sites and/or vendor location, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational, problem solving, and management skills.
• The ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• Able to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
• Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment.
• Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of personalities.
• Must have meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
