Job summary

OCC's Year-Round Internship Programs offer hands-on IT support experience in a hybrid work environment. Interns contribute to real projects, gaining real-world skills in hardware, software, and networks while interacting with customers, vendors, and IT teams.

Interns work up to 20 hours per week during school terms and up to 40 hours in the summer, capped at 1,000 hours. The program runs January–December 2027 with paid sick leave eligibility.

Qualifications

• Majors in Computer Science or comparable field are preferred.
• Basic understanding of Windows 11 is expected.
• Understanding of Active Directory concepts; admin experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Log incoming tickets in ServiceNow with full details.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues with clear documentation to Level 2/3 support.
• Maintain and update knowledge base articles as needed.
