Job summary

Adventureland Park is seeking an IT Support Intern to join the team at Altoona, IA. The role focuses on assisting with the setup and maintenance of networking systems and providing IT support for events and staff.

You will work with park leadership to understand business needs, train end-users, and help document IT procedures. A bachelor’s or master’s in IT/cybersecurity or related field is required, with 1+ year IT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in (or a recent graduate of) a bachelor’s or master’s degree program with a concentration in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• 1+ years of work experience as an IT Technician or Support role preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up and maintenance of networking systems for Adventureland’s IT infrastructure.
• Provide IT support for special events and for end-users’ software and hardware needs.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation activities with minimal supervision.
• Help train end-users on IT platforms and maintain documentation and manuals.
• Assist with configuration of IT systems (workstations) across facilities and festival grounds.
• Support take down, storage, and setup of workstations for events.
