Job summary

Adventureland Park in Altoona, IA, seeks an AV Technician to support setup and operation of AV equipment across Theme Park, Waterpark, and events. The role involves setting up lighting, projection, and sound, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining equipment for optimal guest experiences.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of AV experience or a technical degree, plus strong computer skills and mechanical aptitude. Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• 1–2 years AV/Sound experience or a technical degree/diploma.
• Excellent computer proficiency and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of installation, configuration and maintenance of AV systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing technical support and setup of AV equipment for all operation areas.
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain AV equipment, lighting, projection, and sound systems.
• Keep AV storage areas clean and organized; report issues to AV Manager.
• Work with Events Team to ensure proper AV setup for meetings and events.
• Maintain safety and guest security, and assist other departments to ensure a positive guest experience.
