Job summary

Agri Supply Co in Garner, NC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support across the organization. You will set up workstations, manage accounts, and maintain servers as part of daily operations.

The role requires an AA degree or equivalent, 2+ years of relevant experience, and strong skills with Windows and Google Workspace. Some travel to multiple locations may be needed; in-office work is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or its equivalent.
• 2 or more years of experience in the field or related area.
• Strong attention to detail and sound analytical skills.
• Advanced experience with Windows software, spreadsheet capabilities and Internet knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the entire organization.
• Leverage analysis techniques to understand and identify the cause of issues with networks, hardware, system configurations, software, and permissions.
• Set up, install, and configure new workstations, user profiles, and accounts.
• Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of server hardware and software, including physical and virtual servers.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions within Active Directory and Google Workspace.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on all computer system equipment.
• Performs system support activities including system monitoring, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and system maintenance.
• Analyze data and import logs to resolve issues with integrations between systems.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
• Monitor, and maintain security solutions (e.g., endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning).
• Providing technical support and training to end-users.
• Maintaining documentation related to network, application, and integration support and configurations.
