Job summary

SI Group is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide Tier I & II support for local and remote end-users, document issues in the ITSM system, and escalate where appropriate. You will install, upgrade, troubleshoot Windows OS, Office 365, printers, and other desktop hardware and software.

You will manage Active Directory moves/adds/changes, maintain asset inventories, contribute to SOPs, and help deliver end-user training.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years IT administrator level experience.
• Experience with ITSM and ITIL tools.
• Chemical industry or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage, troubleshoot and resolve request & incident tickets, escalating as appropriate.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows client OS, Office 365, and desktop applications.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot computer hardware, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage Move/Add/Change for AD user and computer accounts; provisioning access.
• Update IT hardware and software asset inventory; document network/infrastructure.
• Create or update SOPs; provide training and knowledge base contributions.
• Own or assist in administration of assigned software platforms to ensure availability.
