Job summary

CIT is seeking an IT Support Engineer to resolve tickets and provide ongoing support across desktop, servers, networks, and cloud environments. You’ll work remotely within the United States, communicating clearly and empathetically to deliver timely, effective solutions.

A strong background in NOC/helpdesk and virtualization will help drive success and client satisfaction. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT support, certifications (A+/Network+/CCNA), and the ability to work in a 24/7/365

Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in computer networking, NOC, or helpdesk environments.
Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting network devices and configurations.
Intermediate Microsoft 365 knowledge and support experience.
Intermediate Active Directory design, implementation, and administration skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and support customer infrastructure including firewalls, switches, access points, servers, and cloud services.
Prioritize high-impact tickets and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain accurate records of ticket updates, resolutions, and customer interactions.
Communicate with customers and team members to address and resolve issues.
Adhere to KPIs for ticket resolution time and customer satisfaction.
Participate in ongoing education; obtain CompTIA A+ and Network+ within first year.
