Job summary

GPL Technologies in Los Angeles, CA, is hiring a Systems Support Engineer to act as the first point of contact for clients with IT issues. You will troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate problems while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves support by phone, email, and ticketing system, with a preference for candidates in the Los Angeles area but open to out-of-state candidates for the right fit.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT support experience.
• Experience with Zendesk, ServiceNow, or ConnectWise.
• Proficient with macOS and Windows administration.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for desktop, software, hardware, and network issues.
• Manage tickets via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or 3 when needed.
• Maintain high client satisfaction and professional service.
• Monitor systems and perform basic maintenance and updates.
• Create and update knowledge base articles.
