Job summary

Amazon IT Support Associate II, Ops Tech Solutions (OTS), provides frontline IT support for Amazon Operations facilities across a defined regional area, troubleshooting Windows, Mac, and Linux systems and handling IT equipment issues.

You will work with operations teams to resolve problems, train new hires, and continuously learn new technologies while traveling locally to support customers as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience or equivalent
• Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
• Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service

Responsibilities

• Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting of IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities
• Handling support requests and procedures across the network
• Assisting in training new hires
• Continuous learning of new technologies
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers
• Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers
