Job summary

DC International is seeking an IT Support Associate for our on-site team in Carrollton, TX. You will be the first contact for employees needing help with devices, accounts, and office software, owning support end-to-end and coordinating with specialists as needed.

This entry-level role includes hands-on training, with growth into systems administration, infrastructure, and project work. Expect to use Claude daily to troubleshoot and automate recurring tasks.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in IT support or help desk or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and PC hardware troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
• Clear writing: ticket notes and runbooks relied on by the team.
• Comfortable using AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) daily.
• Patient and friendly with users who are stuck and in a hurry.
• Good at figuring out actual needs when problems are unclear.
• Willing to say "I don't know yet" and find out.
• CompTIA A+ or willingness to earn within six months.
• Experience with Entra ID / Active Directory and Intune.
• Experience with Jira Service Management or similar ticketing systems.
• Markdown documentation, prompts, or AI plugins experience.
• Basic PowerShell.
• Exposure to ERP (Business Central) or Shopify.
• Tech support in warehouse, retail, or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove accounts and access across Microsoft 365, Business Central, Shopify, Jira, and Airtable.
• Manage software licenses and assign to users who need them.
• Set up and troubleshoot laptops, monitors, printers, and warehouse devices.
• Install software and assist with Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
• Maintain hardware asset inventory and coordinate warranty repairs.
• Close tickets with clear summaries of issues and fixes.
• Monitor queue during business hours and respond quickly.
• Resolve simple issues on the spot; escalate business-system problems with impact notes within minutes.
• Escalate larger requests with concise impact and needed facts.
• Convert informal questions into tickets.
• Maintain a calendar for patches, firmware, expirations, checks.
• Convert alerts into tracked tickets.
• Write Markdown runbooks for teammates and AI tools.
• Create reusable AI automations from recurring fixes.
