Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical topics clearly
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse users
• Familiar with service desk workflows and ITIL concepts
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and work across shifts
• Detail-oriented and organized with proactive problem solving

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and requests in person or by phone, with timely resolution or escalation
• Meet performance goals for incident resolution
• Maintain the support queue and provide escalation as needed
• Troubleshoot and assist employees with computers, peripherals, and security credentials
• Support business applications, patching, training, and documentation
• Adhere to cybersecurity best practices and data security policies
• Maintain SLAs and use ITSM tools for ticketing and knowledge base
