Job summary

Pali Mountain seeks an IT Support staff member to assist the IT department by monitoring and repairing network infrastructure, maintaining public Wi‑Fi, and remotely managing staff computers. You will also help with audio/video setup and equipment disposal, and support printer and phone systems across the campus.

The role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a large campus setting.

Nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, our 250-acre mountain facility is conveniently located in Running Springs, CA, only 90 minutes from Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties. Pali Mountain is home to Pali Adventures, an overnight sleep away camp, Pali Institute, an outdoor education program and Pali Retreat, a mountain retreat and conference center.

Summary

Assists IT department as needed, including but not limited to the following:

While working at Pali Mountain you will monitor and repair network infrastructure, maintain our public WIFI, remotely manage software on staff computers, purchase new equipment when necessary and properly dispose of old equipment and maintain existing hardware. Along with working on our computer network you will maintain our phone system, assist with audio/video set up and continual maintenance on both.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with IT customer service.
• Experience working on a large campus (preferred)

• Previous experience working on computer networks, phone network, printers, etc.

• Assist with installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks

• Providing technical support across companies (this may be in person or over the phone)

• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
