Job summary

Job description

Under the general direction of the IT Contracts and Procurement Section Manager I, the IT Supervisor II (IT Sup II) manages and directs the day-to-day activities, operations, initiatives, and IT acquisitions of the IT Purchasing team including complex and major information technology hardware, software, systems, services, and supplies through lease, rental, or purchase within the Department of Justice’s (DOJ’s) delegated purchasing authority. This position will directly manage various procurement specialists and administrative support staff. The IT Sup II provides a wide variety of representative, consultative, and analytical support relative to various administrative and technical support activities including plan, budget, acquisition, personnel management, and program evaluation. Participates in and successfully completes ongoing training associated with post-award activities.
