Smithfield Foods is seeking a Senior Manager, Information Technology to lead the IT strategy and roadmap for enterprise applications, SAP environments, and integrations. You will partner with executives to drive modernization and governance across IT programs, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance of critical systems.

You will oversee multiple IT teams, manage large projects, and drive automation while delivering value to business stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years IT experience.
2+ years team or project leadership.
Broad knowledge of enterprise applications and SAP.
Strong business-IT alignment skills.
Excellent communication with executive stakeholders.
Change leadership and governance experience.
Experience managing large IT projects and portfolios.
Collaborative leadership with positive culture.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for IT applications, integrations, and systems.
Oversee governance including change, release, incident and problem management.
Lead teams supporting enterprise applications, SAP environments, integrations, and plant/warehouse systems.
Partner with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals.
Drive automation, proactive monitoring, and best practices to reduce risk.
Direct project portfolios and resource planning to meet timelines.
Provide regular IT performance updates to executives on risks and progress.
Develop and coach IT staff to foster high performance.
