Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Senior Manager of Information Technology to lead enterprise IT applications, SAP development (ABAP, Fiori/UI5), and web delivery. You’ll set direction for IT support, governance, and modernization while partnering with executives to align technology with business goals.

You will manage multiple IT teams, drive innovation, and ensure reliable delivery of critical systems across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field with 8+ years IT experience.
Strategic leadership with 2+ years in team management or project leadership.
Broad knowledge of enterprise applications, SAP environments, integration tools, and IT operations.
Ability to align technology strategies with organizational objectives and communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

Define and execute vision, strategy, and roadmap for IT applications, integrations, and systems management.
Oversee governance, change, release, incident, and problem management with SDLC adherence.
Lead IT teams across enterprise apps, SAP, and web development, ensuring stable operations.
Partner with executives and stakeholders to drive alignment of technology initiatives.
Drive innovation, automation, and best practices across SAP and web application platforms.
