Job summary

Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin is seeking an IT Specialist to support and maintain the agency’s PCs, networks, and phones. You will interact with internal staff at all levels and with external vendors to ensure smooth IT operations.

The role involves planning, prioritizing, and troubleshooting IT projects, handling calls and requests professionally, and keeping systems updated with the latest updates and security measures. A Wisconsin driver’s license and vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High school diploma/GED.
• At least 2 years of experience providing PC setup, repair, implementation and network design.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with reliable vehicle; auto insurance and driving record requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; time management and confidentiality skills.
• Experience with a variety of telephone systems.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the agency's PCs, networks and phone systems for internal clients and external vendors.
• Plan, prioritize, troubleshoot and follow through on IT projects.
• Handle incoming calls and IT support requests promptly and professionally.
• Provide up-to-date network operation information and perform necessary hardware/software updates.
• Assist in development and implementation of a Wide Area Network and provide server/hand-on support.
