Job summary

The Connectivity and Collaboration Service (CCS) under OIT at the VA seeks a skilled IT leader to guide secure networking and collaboration infrastructure across the enterprise from Salt Lake City. You will help design, implement, and oversee data center networks, LAN/WAN optimization, and secure messaging to deliver reliable services to VA customers.

Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at GS-11 level or higher and meet the qualification standards.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-11, in the normal line of progression for the occupation.

Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Experience providing technical guidance and oversight to IT personnel designing, building, and supporting data center networks which contain infrastructure such as switches, routers and firewalls, as well as LAN and WAN optimization technologies.
