Citizens State Bank in Hudson, WI is seeking an IT Specialist I to help maintain and optimize our technology infrastructure for a community bank audience. You will work on cloud environments, core banking systems, Windows Server, and end-user devices to ensure reliable service for customers and staff.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in IT operations or help desk, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel locally for site support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT operations, help desk, telecom, or PC/LAN/Cloud/Windows AD support required.
• Associate degree or some college with specialized computer training; Bachelor's degree desirable.
• Well-developed oral and written communication to prepare documentation and train staff.
• Must have valid Class D driver’s license and own vehicle for day travel to bank offices.
• May be required to work additional hours including weekends for special projects.
• Working knowledge of bank operations and procedures desirable.
• Exposure to customer service functions and commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of cloud-based environments.
• Assist staff with daily technical hardware and software problem resolution; track tickets.
• Assist with installation, configuration and maintenance of software on Core-Banking Systems, Windows Server, and PCs.
• Perform daily IT checklists to ensure systems and security posture.
• Prepare and deploy new PCs and laptops for end users.
• Assist in administration and monitoring of PC, network, telecom, cloud, and application system security; review CISA advisories.
• Assist with new employee application setup and access removal for terminated employees.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, configurations, licensing, installations, updates, and inventories.

Job description

Citizens State Bank, a community bank in Western Wisconsin, is seeking to hire an IT Specialist I. The IT Specialist I will have a vital role in the bank, ensuring optimal functionality of technology infrastructure and systems.

A successful candidate for this position will have strong technical abilities and solid communication skills. Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of various cloud-based environments
• Assist bank staff with daily technical hardware and software problem resolution, in a timely manner. Track all tickets via IT Ticketing application.
• Assist with installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance of various software packages and operating systems on multiple platforms (Core-Banking Systems, Windows Server, PC).
• Perform daily IT checklists, validating all systems are performing as expected and security posture is as expected.
• Perform new PC & laptop preparation, setup and software customization, installation of new PCs & laptops at end user workstations and other computer hardware/software tasks.
• Assist in the administration and monitoring of PC, network, telecommunications, cloud and application system security. Review periodic security advisories from CISA.
• Assist with new employee application setup and terminated employee application access removal.
• Ensure accurate records are kept and maintained regarding work performed, technical configurations, software licensing, product installation and update procedures, maintenance, purchases, and hardware/software inventories.

Qualifications

• IT minimum 2 years experience in computer operations, help desk, telecommunications, and/or PC/LAN/Cloud & Windows Active Directory support is required.
• Associate college or computer institute degree or some college and specialized computer training in operations, programming, telecommunications, PC/LAN/Cloud/Windows support, etc. is required. Bachelor's degree in technology related field is desirable.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills to conduct tutorials and demonstrations, prepare documentation, and communicate in an effective and positive manner with peers, clients, and management.
• Must have Valid Class D driver’s license and personal vehicle for day travel to provide support at various bank offices.
• May be required to work additional hours before or after normal business hours including weekends as required by special projects.
• Working knowledge of bank operations and procedures is desirable.
• Exposure to customer service functions and commitment to maintaining quality customer service.
