Job summary

USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) seeks a skilled IT professional for the OCIO Security Compliance, Operations & Customer Assistance Center. The role covers planning, design, development, system administration, and IT customer support within FSIS IT services.

Applicants must meet specialized 2210 series requirements and demonstrate experience in enterprise connectivity, Active Directory, and Windows/Microsoft 365 environments.

Qualifications

Specialized IT experience: enterprise Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, VPN, authentication, or secure connectivity.
Experience in telecom services or 5G wireless environments.
Proficiency with Active Directory and IT support ticket systems.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft OS and Microsoft 365 apps and support.
Experience supporting Dell or HP laptops and printers.

Responsibilities

Duties include providing IT planning, design, and customer assistance within the OCIO Security Compliance, Operations & Customer Assistance Center.
