Job summary

Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) seeks a qualified IT professional for the OCIO, Security Compliance, Operations & Customer Assistance Center. The role requires specialized experience with enterprise connectivity, AD, Windows OS, and device support. Candidates should meet IO requirements and pass USAHire assessments.

This position supports critical IT services for FSIS. Applicants must demonstrate attention to detail, customer service excellence, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized IT experience at GS-12 level or equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise Wi‑Fi, VPN, authentication and secure connectivity.
• Experience with Active Directory, IT support tickets, or customer support.
• Experience with Microsoft OS and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Experience supporting Dell or HP laptops and printers.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT customer support and ticket management.
• Troubleshoot and maintain network connectivity, VPN, and authentication.
• Support enterprise devices including laptops and printers.
• Assist in information assurance/security and system administration tasks.
