Job summary

Dayton Roger's Contract is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on managing and maintaining our IT systems, servers, desktops, and network infrastructure while supporting employees remotely.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in IT or related field, 2+ years of IT support experience, and familiarity with Windows and Mac environments along with security and backup procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of IT support experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCSA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all hardware and software systems, including servers, workstations, and networking equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for employees.
• Install and configure new hardware and software as needed.
• Monitor system performance and ensure data backup and recovery processes are in place.
• Implement and maintain network security measures.
• Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures.
• Train and educate employees on proper use of technology systems.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to make recommendations for system improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve business processes.
