Job summary

AirBoss Flexible Products is seeking an IT Specialist to support the Information Systems team with help desk, systems administration, onboarding new hires and purchasing. The role requires hands-on experience with Windows 10/7, Windows Server 2012/2008, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS, plus a practical understanding of network cabling and hardware.

The successful candidate will resolve technical issues, manage user accounts, and ensure compliance with safety and quality

Qualifications

• Degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field or work experience (3+ years).
• 3+ years support for Windows 10,7.
• 3+ years support for Windows server 2012, 2008.
• 3+ years support for Microsoft Office Products including O365.
• 2+ years experience with Active Directory (Add/Delete/Manage Users).
• 2+ years experience with Group Policy.
• 2+ years experience with DNS.
• Ability to handle projects as assigned by IS managers.
• Knowledge of wiring and cables.

Responsibilities

• Installs hardware and peripherals such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives.
• Provides support for both software and hardware.

• Understand and abide by Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the Company mission, policies and procedures, and State and Federal regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Operate a computer and other office components such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer
• Frequently communicates and transcribes information
• Move and install equipment weighing up to 15lbs
• Frequently positions self to maintain computers and other equipment, including under desks and in the server closet
