Job summary

EchoStar is seeking a SOX Compliance IT Staff to drive cross-functional alignment of IT controls with business processes in Englewood, CO. The role evaluates ICOFR, ITGC, and automated controls, coordinating with vendors and integrating controls into new application projects.

You will perform walkthroughs, map SOC reports to control structures, and support internal/external audits while identifying remediation actions; emerging AI tools will be explored to enhance risk identification and testing

Qualifications

• Experience with ITGC and application controls testing.
• Knowledge of COBIT/COSO frameworks and SEC/PCAOB standards.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems and Visio flowcharting.
• CISA or equivalent IT/InfoSec audit certification or actively pursuing license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IT process walkthroughs and analyze ICOFR to ensure coverage.
• Collaborate with process teams to leverage automated controls for SOX optimization.
• Evaluate SOC reports and map CUECs to internal control structures.
• Assist in SOX scoping, control design, and remediation plans during audits.
• Support audit teams and explore AI tools to streamline testing documentation.
