Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) leader to own SOX 404 control design and continuous assurance. You will work closely with Internal Audit and engineering teams to translate regulatory obligations into robust controls, and drive continuous monitoring, evidence readiness, and remediation across ITGC domains.

Qualifications

• Must have led or been a senior contributor to an ITGC program through SOX 404 readiness or at a public company.
• Strong engineering fluency and ability to read code and CI/CD pipelines end to end.
• Programming skills in Python or Go/Rust/C/C++; familiarity with cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define control requirements and acceptance criteria for ITGCs across SOX in-scope systems.
• Lead second-line control monitoring and evidence readiness.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit and external auditors to ensure controls meet requirements.
• Translate SOX and framework language into actionable engineering acceptance criteria.
• Drive continuous control monitoring and automated evidence collection.
