Job Description

Do you have experience with AS400/IBMi? This might be the role you have been looking for. The IT Software Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining technology solutions. This position involves analyzing, designing, testing, and automating tests. It requires collaboration with team members to develop innovative, business-driven technology solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain technology solutions, ensuring they meet non-functional requirements; assist with solution design.
  • Analyze, design, and develop tests and test-automation suites.
  • Use test-driven development in an agile environment.
  • Leverage and contribute components for the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve innovative, business-results-driven solutions.
  • Apply best practices and pursue continuous improvement.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience; High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with application development or packaged software implementations — AS400/IBMi.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience with RPG/CL.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn from senior team members.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to travel up to 5%.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends/shifts outside core hours as needed.
  • Prolonged sitting, use of hands, talking, hearing.
  • Occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific visual abilities required.

Employees must adhere to security responsibilities, legal, regulatory, and internal policies.

Salary range: $74,000 - $118,000 based on experience.
