Job Description

Do you have experience with AS400/IBMi? This might be the role you have been looking for. The IT Software Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining technology solutions. This position analyzes, designs, and develops tests and test-automation. It collaborates cross-functionally with team members to achieve innovative, business-driven technology solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain technology solutions, ensuring they meet non-functional requirements; assist with solution design
  • Analyze, design, and develop tests and test-automation suites
  • Use test-driven development in an agile environment
  • Leverage and contribute components for the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve innovative, business-results driven technology solutions
  • Apply best practices and drive continuous improvement
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience; High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years of experience with application development or packaged software implementations - AS400/IBMi
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

  • Understanding security implications within the domain
Physical Demands
  • Ability to travel up to 5%
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and shifts outside core hours as needed
  • Prolonged sitting, use of hands, talking, hearing; occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Visual acuity requirements

All employees must understand and adhere to security responsibilities and comply with applicable legal and internal policies.

Potential pay ranges from $74,000 to $118,000 based on experience and skills.
