Charleston County EMS is seeking an IT Software Administrator to manage and support multiple software systems across the department, coordinating with the County IT Department and other offices to optimize usage and access control. You will analyze workflows, propose improvements, and design automated systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of software support or database administration experience.
• Experience with software coordination across departments and ability to train others.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and SQL relational databases; ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support multiple software systems across the department (e.g., UKG/Kronos, PowerDMS, Guardian Tracking, ESO).
• Coordinate with County IT and other departments to optimize software use and support.
• Assess departmental software needs and design automated workflows and processes where appropriate.
