Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Support Services is seeking an IT Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain desktop hardware and software. You will support end users, troubleshoot connectivity, and assist with system upgrades in a dynamic casino environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of hardware support, and within 12 months an A+ certification. Familiarity with Active Directory and Windows networking is essential; a candidate with Ghost Imaging and Blackberry

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in computer hardware support and maintenance.
• Must obtain A+ certification within 12 months of hire.
• Experience with Ghost Imaging, Iseries, and BlackBerry devices is a plus.
• Knowledge of XP/2003/Windows 7/2008 environments and related configurations.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and TCP/IP, WINS, DHCP and DNS protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and optimize desktops and laptops (hardware and software).
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and manage cabling as needed.
• Provide basic network administration: user accounts and passwords.
• Assist in rollout of system hardware/software upgrades and patches.
• Liaise with staff and end users; provide training and support.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete administrative tasks.
