Job summary

PNM Resources, Inc. is seeking a Manager, IT to develop and implement an overall service plan for a business unit, and to manage relationships with Information Services, Telecommunications, and IS clients.

The role leads a team of project managers and technical staff, negotiates SLAs, prepares budgets, and ensures delivery of high quality IT services while aligning with enterprise business plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Resource Management, Business Computer Systems, Computer Science or management.
• 5–7 years related experience, or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops service plans for a business unit or service areas.
• Negotiates, updates, manages, and reports on service level agreements and addendums.
• Reports for IS and Client Management with help from IS staff.
• Coordinates and manages client requests for development, PCs, phones, consulting, vendors, RFP/RFI development.
• Gathers resources from support groups.
• Develops the annual budget to support plans and projects.
• Monitors performance against plan to stay within budget and ensure client satisfaction.
• Participates as a key member of senior IS management to develop and execute IT/IS business plans.
• Manages a group that may include project managers, coordinators, consultants, and technical personnel.
