Overview
As an IT & Security Support Technician you will work on the Tech & Security team providing client and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Ticket Resolution – Manage and resolve client support tickets promptly, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
- Scheduling – Coordinate appointments with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Client Interactions – Communicate effectively with vendors and clients to understand issues, provide solutions, and maintain positive relationships.
- Ordering – Handle procurement of IT hardware, software licenses, and security tools; provide sales quotes to clients.
- Administrative Support – Manage calendars and emails, answer client phone calls, and respond to client requests.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality of work.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, software, operating systems and internet connections.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with clients and peers.
- Hands‑on experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
- Solid knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server, mobile devices, and printers.
- Strong communication skills, memory of patterns, and interest in problem‑solving.
- Detail‑oriented, thorough with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Security+, Network+, Microsoft, or other IT industry‑standard certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of IT systems, hardware and applications (Windows Servers, VMWare, and networking switches) is a plus.
Pay
$23–$30 per hour
